· Nature,Food and Drink,Family,Attractions,Outdoors

Halloween is such a fun time for kids. No more so than in the Lake District, where the changing of the seasons is one of our most beautiful and well-marked occasions. A trip to the Lake District at this time of year is a magical experience, especially for children. Jump in the big piles of leaves; enjoy a night round a bonfire; get cosy in an historic Lake District Hotel; take some super strolls through the changing landscape; avoid the Summer crowds, and enjoy the spectacle that is Halloween in the Lakes!
