This Summer, Muncaster castle near Ravenglass, has a whole host of outdoor events for families to enjoy. ‘Picnic Cinema’ host cinema events all over the Lake District, and are at Muncaster on the 10th of August for a screening of the 80’s classic, Beetlejuice.
A Cool Forest Day
When the weather is super hot, a shady forest grove walk is the perfect escape. Grizedale forest is a welcome retreat for families who enjoy peaceful walks but need interesting options for the kids too. Follow the many trails, riddled with unusual sculptures and activities for the kids.
