Hotel Booking Conditions

Deposit

To secure your reservation, a deposit of £25.00 per person / per night is required. Your deposit becomes payable at the moment of booking.

Unsecured Reservations

When a reservation has been made and no deposit paid, the hotel reserves the right to release these rooms, as the hotel does not Guarantee unconfirmed bookings.

Cancellations

A confirmed booking and consequent room reservation constitutes a legal contract - we are bound to hold a room for a guest who in turn is bound to pay for it. In the event of cancellation for any reason, or non-arrival of any guest on the agreed date, the total price will be levied. Every effort will be made to re-let the room(s) at the contract price. If successful an administration fee of £15 will be deducted from any refundable payments.
There is no reduction for meals not taken.
We advise all guests to take out booking cancellation insurance.
We cannot always guarantee that you will occupy a specific room for your stay. The management reserve the right to amend bookings or provide alternative rooms at their discretion.
Any contract created in connection with any booking shall be deemed for the purposes of any litigation to have been created in Keswick.

Arrival Time

On the day of arrival it cannot be guaranteed that your room will be ready for occupation before 2.00 pm
Dinner is served from 7:30 - 8:30 pm, if your arrival is likely to be after 8.30 pm please advise our reception.
The hotel is normally locked at 11.00 pm every evening and arrivals after this time can only be by prior arrangement.

Pets

We do not allow pets in the hotel, though they are welcome to stay in your car overnight and enjoy our gardens, lakeside and woods by day.
